The goal of Dis[Course]4 was to break down MIT’s vertical stratification and generate inter-floor/interdisciplinary discourse. One simple part with complex behavior repeated 2,700 times. Each unit was constructed of waterjet cut aluminum flashing, 'snap fit' together and supported with steel cables.
